The chief goal of UC College Prep is to help California students become competitively eligible for the colleges and universities of their choice. Taking the courses is important, but mapping out a path to college is just as important. UCCP recommends that students and counselors seek college planning resources through CaliforniaColleges.edu, a web site supported by the University of California, California State Universities and California community colleges. CaliforniaColleges.edu contains many of the same resources formerly offered by UCCP’s CollegePath web site, which closed on August 1, 2007.
